Conveying and Sieving

In addition to transport applications BRECON external vibrators are also used for screening bulk materials.

Screening is essentially nothing more then conveying material over a channel with screenbottom. Screening takes place, for example, to separate different material sizes from each other or to drain water from sand or gravel in gravel pits.

If you choose 3000 1/min, 1500 1/min, 1000 1/min or even less, vibration depends on the size of the material to be conveyed or sieved and from the desired conveying speed. For small grain size like powder or fine sand 3000 1/min vibrators should be selected. Bigger size material requires lower vibration frequencies like 1000 1/min and 750 1/min. Lower speed goes along with larger amplitude.
